The Meyer Family has dedicated decades of service to the youth of Dubuque through their commitment to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dubuque. In recognition of their impact, the BGC Board of Directors has established the Meyer Family Positive Outcomes Fund—a lasting tribute that continues their mission of supporting young people on their journey to success.

This fund provides financial awards of up to $5,000 annually to past or present Boys & Girls Club members, staff, or volunteers pursuing education or training that supports their career and academic goals.

Funding Tracks

Futures in Technical Trade

This track supports youth pursuing careers in skilled trades or specialized certifications. Eligible expenses include, but are not limited to:

  • Tuition or course fees for trade-specific programs

  • Job training and certification programs

  • Tools, equipment, and essential materials for your chosen trade

  • Registration for relevant workshops, seminars, or conferences

Diplomas 2 Degrees

This track supports students enrolled in two- or four-year undergraduate programs. Eligible expenses include, but are not limited to:

  • Tuition and academic fees

  • Textbooks, study materials, and other educational resources

  • Technology and equipment essential for academic success (e.g., laptops, software)

Applications are reviewed annually. Awards of up to $5,000 are granted based on eligibility, alignment with program goals, and availability of funds.
